Manchester United’s youth system is currently filled with talented youngsters, and it appears they may have found the ideal player to succeed Marcus Rashford.

The under-18 team of Manchester United has experienced significant success this season, winning all but one U18 PL game.

Among the standout players in this youth group, Harry Amass is currently considered one of the best, while Ethan Williams, a left-winger, has also had an outstanding season.

Erik ten Hag has taken notice of Williams, given his recent involvement with the first team. This season, he is expected to get his chance to prove himself.

Williams has had a remarkable season, showcasing his skills at every level he has played in. With four goals and four assists in six games at the U18 level this season, he has clearly elevated his game. He has also contributed three goals in seven games for the U21 team, which is commendable. Additionally, he has scored twice and provided an assist in four UEFA Youth League games.

Williams’ versatility in scoring various types of goals and his refined finishing skills make him stand out. This could prove beneficial as he steps up to a higher level.

While he is expected to get some playing time with the first team this season, it’s not guaranteed. Alejandro Garpatcho currently seems more promising on the right wing than Rashford does on the left.

Williams could thrive in the long run if he goes on loan to a club in League One or the Championship, where he would be respected and able to play in a suitable system.
