In celebration of Manchester United’s triumphant return to the Champions League, Erik ten Hag was spotted cycling around.
Ten Hag took to his bike after securing Champions League football for Manchester United.
Following their victory in the Champions League game, the Manchester United boss rode his bike.
It was the Manchester United manager who cycled through the streets.
After urging the Red Devils’ leadership for support this summer, the Dutchman ensured their Champions League qualification.
The win guaranteed Manchester United a spot in the Champions League next season, triumphing over rivals Liverpool.
Ten Hag was seen cycling in Cheshire on Friday, following the match at Old Trafford.
Preparing for the upcoming summer, he rode his bike with his jacket draped over the front.
His attire included dark gray pants, black shoes, and a light gray long-sleeved shirt.
Despite making significant progress in his first year, Ten Hag acknowledges there is still much work to be done.
Requesting Manchester United to sign “better players” in the summer, he emphasized the need for higher standards and demands.
After defeating Frank Lampard’s Chelsea, Ten Hag told Sky Sports, “It’s a great foundation, but standards and demands must rise. We have to work with this team in the summer, but we also need to add to it during the window. We need to be realistic if we want to compete for the crown. It’s a reality. We are still far away, so we have a lot of work to do. But if we want to contend for the top spot, we need better players.”
Expressing an “obsession” with Harry Kane, Ten Hag is keen on signing him above all others.
In case Kane isn’t attainable, Manchester United has a list of six strikers they are considering, recognizing Daniel Levy’s negotiating prowess.
Other players, such as Declan Rice and Mason Mount, are also linked with potential moves.
Possible summer signings for the Red Devils include defender Kim Min-jae and forward Jermaine Frimpong.
Ten Hag has been spotted riding a bike before, even enjoying a Valentine’s Day outing with his wife Bianca after cycling together earlier in the season.
