Barcelona players, along with coach Xavi Hernandez, were seen dining out on Wednesday night, and Pedri appeared to foot the bill. 

The celebration was in honor of Pedri’s recent 19th birthday and his Kopa Trophy win at the Ballon d’Or awards.

 The plan was warmly received by Xavi, who aims to foster a familial atmosphere within the team.

 Pedri, joined by the first-team squad, arrived at the Via Veneto restaurant, with sidelined player Sergi Aguero also in attendance. 

Barcelona B youngsters Ilias Akhomach and Ed Azbde, who have been playing with the first team, joined the gathering. Ousmane Dembele, amid contract speculation, was the last to arrive. 

The outing took place during a rare midweek break for Barcelona before important matches against Real Betis and Bayern Munich in La Liga and the Champions League, respectively.

 Barcelona is currently four points behind Betis in La Liga and is aiming for victory following a recent 3-1 win over Villarreal. 

The Champions League match against Bayern Munich is crucial for securing a place in the last 16.
