Xavi Hernandez strongly criticized La Liga referees once again following Barcelona’s 3-1 victory over Alaves. 

Despite Vitor Roque securing a late winner, the Brazilian teenager faced controversy after receiving a disputed second yellow card, leading to his expulsion.

 Xavi expressed frustration, attributing such decisions to the ongoing Negreira bribery case involving Barcelona. 

He urged fairness, emphasizing the team’s desire to compete without unjust repercussions. 

Barcelona plans to appeal Roque’s impending ban, which, if upheld, would see him miss the upcoming match against Granada on February 11
