Manchester United prodigy Tyler Fletcher has changed his international allegia𝚗ce back to Scotland. 

The 16-year-old, son of former United midfielder Darren Fletcher, made his international debut for Scotland’s U-16s in September 2022.

 After a brief stint with England, he returned to represent Scotland earlier this year in a match against the Three Lions.

 Tyler’s brother, Jack, was named in the England squad for the February clɑsh between the two nations. 

Darren Fletcher represented Scotland on the international stage

Tyler later rejoined England’s U-16s for the Montaigu Tournament in April but has now returned to represent Scotland in the U-17 European Championship qualifiers. 

The midfielder, who played against Belarus in Turkey on Saturday, originally played for Manchester City’s academy before joining Man Utd this summer. 

Darren Fletcher, the 39-year-old former Scotland international, currently works at Man Utd as technical director, having been promoted from his role as a first-team coach in March 2021
