MANCHESTER UNITED supporters expressed frustration when they noticed Jadon Sancho’s actions upon arriving at Borussia Dortmund.
The 23-year-old, who had been sidelined at Man Utd by Erik ten Hag, has rejoined the German club on loan until the end of the season.
In an interview with Dortmund’s media team about his Bundesliga return, Sancho stated, “It’s so nice to be back. Dortmund is like a home to me.
This is where my career as a professional footballer started. That was always my dream. I’m happy to be back here again.
Of course [I am raring to go]. I want to get started! I think my team-mates will make it easy for me to get started here.” However, his remarks irked some Man Utd fans, with one sarcastically commenting, “A few years ago, Sancho also called Old Trafford home.”
Another fan expressed disappointment, stating, “Sancho once declared that he would do everything to help MU, and this is his way of repaying the club.”
The video clips of Sancho arriving at the training ground wearing the Dortmund training kit and kissing the badge fueled anger among Manchester United supporters.
One fan noted, “He never kissed the United badge like this,” while another called him a “traitor.” Another comment read, “Kissing the badge on day one… that’s a ʋiolatio𝚗!” Some fans bid him farewell with comments like “Good riddance.”
Despite the mixed reactions from fans, Sancho, now back with Dortmund, eagerly rejoined training and was welcomed by his former teammates.
The player is expected to head to Marbella with the squad for a mid-season training camp and may make his debut this weekend.
